Just sharing a couple of old 3d artwork I made during my time at a college many years ago. I'll post a picture along with title and text description for some who can't view larger version. Here goes:
- Fruit room. Fruit foods inside a room with a window. And a masked character holding banana to his left arm and right hand on window, peering into outside.

That's it for 3d related college artwork. That's all.
All of my original production data for these posts are forever lost, due to my instability and psychosis episode not long after college (I deleted nearly everything on my hdd, spiting myself or something like that). Fortunately, I still have some rendered and saved files yielded from 3d production. These probably will never see light of day except for myself until I decided to make this thread. Honestly, I wish I hadn't deleted cause I would love to revisit and complete some toward becoming finished 3d artwork at its finest. Ah well. :\
Currently I'm in process of restoring some of my recent 3d artwork files from November, but that is for another time.. this thread is dedicated to the old college artwork only. Feel free to comment.

More, did you use programs to draw all the lines, color, shades (etc etc) or copy paste an already constructed 3d model. Perhaps it was simply a shite question *chuckle*. Used to sketch myself, but I had to copy someone else's drawing basically.

Perhaps it was simply a shite question *chuckle*. Used to sketch myself, but I had to copy someone else's drawing basically. I used programs to draw all with mice and keyboard except some used some pre-made shaders and reference pictures for some artwork (I was still learning and there were a lots on my plate that time, so I had to fast-track to at least finish most of projects at college) but [*see 2nd edit below - though, Zero/None of copy & paste of already constructed 3d model from someone or anybody's. *see 2nd edit below]
Np man, when I saw your question - I immediately went into "artistic hardcore mode" against myself. The truth is I was too hard on myself. I grew up learning some differences between art originality and reference drawing.
Reference drawing is a term I sort of "invent" as interchange usage for 'life drawing.' The life drawing is drawing something I see from life (eg IRL people, objects) but however "life drawing" is too ambiguous term, so I used 'reference art or drawing' as being specific to draw 'what I see as in reference to any (irl people, objects, pictures, anything) but not art originality.'
Yeah, I was that hard on myself. Because...
When I was young kid, I toyed around copying someone else's drawing. My father saw and took it, then destroyed it. I learned and continued reference art/draw to hone my skills but no art originality - till started after 2010.
Art Originality - a term I used to call authentic art creativity originated from mind (imagination, channeling too? I'm not sure tho).
I've been "reference" artist almost all my life till from 2010 to now.
Edit: Though, ever since I started getting into 3D stuff.. my reference drawing with graphite pencils ability has gone shit. lol
Edit 2: Actually, I just remembered... the fruit room, the masked man was actually already constructed 3d model pre-made that came with the programs. I modified it to turn it into masked man. Thanks for reminding me (from constructed 3d model comment), @sol. I felt it is important to point out what is authentic art originality and not.

You are to fucking hard on yourself man.
I understand what you're saying tho mate. I've told friends about stories/worlds I was/had created, and the majority of responses was "Whoa, awesome. Original idea, Write it" And all I could see was how it reminded me of someone else's work. But especially with drawing...shit guess I was to hard on myself to. How the hell do you learn to draw if you don't study real life, other artists and their techniques? I mean hell, Dali is famous, but let's face it...it's a melted clock *chuckle*.
Actually reminds me of a question posed on a "trippy" site I read. "Create something you've never seen before..." It's virtually impossible. Everything you envision has its basis in something you've seen, no matter how abstract the concept. Anyway; I like the work man. Ps - your dad's a asshole *chuckle*

- Gus Character. Mummified or zebra dog character. I'm having some happy hour moments atm.
The Gus character is based on my IRL old dog who passed away. It was a hunting dog, and a very good one. Unfortunately, it had to be chained and lived near a tree and its dog house due to its being somewhat instability and unpredictable nature. But was always often happy to see me whenever I visit to see it. I remember buying a couple of bone marrow with bits of meat on these and feed these to it. Sometimes it ignored the food and came to see me only, happily so.
One time during hunting season before I stopped hunting, It brought a deer to near me so I'd shoot it, but hit a tree instead of deer. It stood and perplexed-looking at me, I'm like "eh. I missed."
In the winter time, one time it was coldest ever recorded.. we had to let it unchained and let it sleep near inside the house. One time I accidentally let it inside, it searched the house and peed as if own a Territory within it or something like that. lol maybe not, I don't really know much facts about pets and whatnot.
For longest time it was always alone chained to tree and lived near its dog house until a wandering female dog came by then both had "fun time." Idk but was glad it had an opportunity to have so.
I still miss the dog. I sincrely hope it is free and chasing after ghosty deers in the afterlife or something like that. I felt guilt and shit due to its being not... free - especially from chains. I wondered if confining the dog (chained) was what caused it to be unstability and unpredictable at first place or something like that. After its passed away, we vowed never to get a dog pet again after a couple of dogs being part of family. Always sad to see them passing away.

Bah *spits* Dogs are pack animals mate. Lock a human out by itself from a young age, see what you get. Yes, it's entirely due to how it's raised. Dont get me wrong, every animal has its own personality (eg some are more aggressive) but that can be worked with, even used positively. Yes, it peed in the house to claim it...also likely (from the sounds of it) it wasn't house trained. That being said, I've seen the transformations rescue animals make when adopted into a good home. Helped with that myself. There was a lady just the other day at the dog park...she was golden by the end. Eh - when I got my shepard I read/watched everything I could get my hands on, don't get me started *chuckle*. All I hear from people who meet her is "wow", both from her size/apperence, and training. Once I learned how to lead a pack, the training was easy. As I say to people, I can't "claim credit" for all the "tricks" she knows. I taught her, but she learned it and choose to "get it". You did good XL, by going out and showing him attention/love. Hence why it ignored the food in favor of you. Tho I guarantee the treats were appreciated lol.
