In episode 5 Danny Rand (of the Rand Corporation) inserts the Dragon Heroine (heroin) into Ward Meachum's universe.

On the wiki it says:
"The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios and Devilina Productions..."

I haven't read the comics but on the Netflix series K'un-L'un was mentioned to be "heaven" which makes OYE's comments about someone's messiah complex even more interesting.
