lets go through the signs of a malignant nacrissist so we can identify these people and avoid them for our own sanity, go on living our lives without their batshit victim complex while they gaslight and abuse the people they claim are abusing them
1. A Sense of Entitlement
this person thinks they are entitled to be in your life, to be in your space, to have your attention, or to gain something from you
2. An Exaggerated Sense of Self-Importance
for some reason, they are the center of the universe, and it doesn't matter if you tell them you don't care about them and to please leave you alone. they are too delusional and stupid to properly, honestly accept that you just don't give a shit
3. Preoccupation with Fantasies of Power
they think they are the god of this universe and everyone will suffer their judgement for not satisfying their narci fantasies of
4. Grandiosity
A person who is grandiose believes that he or she is so unique that they can’t be understood by anyone who is not at their top-level status.
They have an unrealistic sense of superiority, believe they are better than everyone else, and look upon other “inferior” people with contempt.
They adopt the stance that “I am everything and you are nothing, I have everything and you have nothing.”
5. Paranoia
People with paranoia may believe other people are plotting against them or over-analyze everything that other people say [and make it about them when they weren't involved in any way shape or form]
they are often quick to criticize others but certainly are not open to criticism themselves.
everything is supposed to be some huge plot against them because they are just so who cares
someone who is truly paranoid actually loses touch with reality.
For example, let’s say you are walking through a crowded coffee shop and someone accidentally bumps into you.
You probably acknowledge the mistake with the other person and then move on. However, people suffering from paranoia may believe that this person was intentionally trying to cause them harm, perhaps steal their money, or was specifically targeting them for some reason.
6. Egocentricity
they are enraged if you dare to disagree
7. A Lack of Empathy
Malignant narcissists lack the ability to comprehend what other people may be feeling or to empathize with others. Further, malignant narcissists often believe that they have been the victims of the mistreatment.
Imagine confronting someone who has hurt you, and once the conversation is over, you’ve somehow accepted all of the blame for the other person’s actions.
This is an example of what it would be like to deal with a person who lacks empathy. They have absolutely no remorse or conscience.
8. Cruel and Sadistic
Malignant narcissists can be especially cruel to the point where they actually enjoy causing other people pain, either mentally or physically.
They enjoy revenge, and cruelty, and will go to great lengths to exact it on those that they feel have threatened their greatest asset in the universe: their ego
They will do awful things to someone and try to tell that person they deserved it or had it coming
because they are so cruel, they just assume other people have the same twisted gross thought patterns as themselves and thus get more paranoid, more sadistic, and more egotistical over time
9. Manipulation
they intentionally maneuver you into situations where they are free to more easily exploit you, they do so without any regret.
Manipulators take things that other people say or do and twist them so much that their victims often end up confused and questioning their own reality.
10. Projection
these people are sadistic and cruel, so they think other people are sadistic and cruel and try to get revenge for things that never even happened outside of in their own batshit crazy heads. the things they say about others generally reflect their own true nature. every time you hear a narci talk shit about someone, remember that they are just talking about themselves...
narcissists avoid recognizing their own shortcomings by attributing them to other people.
They may be aware that these shortcomings exist, but they would never admit them. They simply insist that everyone else is guilty of doing what they’re doing.
