Here you can share funny, exciting, hiliarious or curious news stories of all kind. I'll start: FOURTH GRADER SUSPENDED FOR BRINGING HIS 'ONE RING' TO SCHOOL
Snip: Tuesday, February 03, 2015 ODESSA, TX -- A fourth grade boy in Odessa, Texas has been suspended from school for making a terroristic threat. He told another boy that he had a magic ring and could make him disappear. The boy's father, Jason Steward, tells the New York Daily News that he took his son to see "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" last weekend. He says his son brought a ring to class at Kermit Elementary School and acted out a scene from the movie, telling another boy his magic ring could make the boy disappear. The principal was called and immediately suspended the nine-year-old, the Odessa American reports, saying threats to another child's safety would not be tolerated - whether they are magical or not. The principal now says she can't comment on the matter because quote, "All student stuff is confidential." Steward says the principal sent the boy for making a terroristic threat with a magic ring. Steward told her his son lacked the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend's existence, but even if he had those powers, he's sure his son would bring his friend right back.

If that's all it takes to be suspended though...maybe he's just been watching too much lord of the rings lol...

I put together a scenario in my head where this boy, was a bully and was scaring other kids. 9yo bully with a history of abusing other kids is not hard to imagine. There could be something else to the story.

The fun part are the actual explanations for his suspensions: 1. He called an african-american kid "black". 2. He braught his favorite book to school, called "The Big Book of Knowledge." The popular children's encyclopedia had a section on pregnancy with a pregnant woman in an illustration. 3. He told a kid he could make him disappear through his "ring". Seriously- wtf. xD

A huge crop circle has emerged in the countryside – and it’s shaped like a giantSwastika. The 180ft wide symbol appeared in a field in Wiltshire and the farmer who owns the land claims he has no idea how it got there. Appearing overnight, the formation was cut into the barley field at such a size, it can be seen from the road. The farmer, who was initially shocked (as you would be) upon discovery, said that he has since been told the symbol is Hindu and means ‘positivity’.

Giant panda no longer considered an endangered species
After decades of conservation efforts, experts have announced the giant panda is no longer considered an endangered species. The lovable bears, however, are still at risk, though the downgrade in the species’ listing from “endangered” to “vulnerable” is certainly a marked step in the right direction, according to both the World Wildlife Foundation and International Union for Conservation of Nature. “Knowing that the panda is now a step further from extinction is an exciting moment for everyone committed to conserving the world’s wildlife and the habitats,” WWF Director General Marco Lambertini said in a statement. “The recovery of the panda shows that when science, political will and engagement with the local communities come together, we can save wildlife and almost improve biodiversity.” While the giant pandas are no longer listed as endangered, officials warn that they are still at-risk (STR/AFP/GETTY IMAGES) The announcement comes after a 17 percent rise in the panda’s population in the decade leading up to 2014 — a census found nearly 2,000 giant pandas living in the wild in China, according the WWF. "Everyone should celebrate this achievement but pandas remain vulnerable and scattered,” CEO of WWF-China Lo Sze Ping said, “and much of their habitat is threatened by poorly planned infrastructure projects — and remember: there are still only 1,864 left in the wild.” www.nydailynews.com/news/world/giant-panda-no-longer-listed-endangered-species-article-1.2777947Ahhhjajajaja today is a good day!

Oh wow! Check this out, Cruise-Ship is so hueg, its waves destroy nearby ship-yard.
A cruise ship in Italy has left devastation in its wake after destroying a pier and sinking small vessels as it pulled away from shore.
The Carnival Vista was just metres from its berth in Messina, Sicily on Sunday when the prop wash from its thrusters caused a wild set of waves to topple a boat pier, The Maritime Executive reports. As the water starts to foam behind the cruise liner’s newest ship, a thick wake surges towards the shore instantly smashing through the concrete pier and tumbling docked boats to the ocean floor. The strength of the wave also caused the pier to split from its mainland structure. Port authorities have opened an investigation into the matter, Italian media reported. www.9news.com.au/world/2016/09/02/17/09/cruise-ship-destroys-pier-and-sinks-boats-with-its-wake
