Which in turn is nothing special in itself  ------ I've been meditating lots lately, fasting - almost starving myself, wait no almost dying from thirst - going 3-4 days at times without consuming anything because I was uncouncious over the course of those times. Once I became concious again.... it is really hard to describe, felt like my mind wasn't attached to my body anymore. I traveled to places I have never seen or even heard of before, I traveled to places in the past and was living thereit felt as if I was really there but I knew my body was still in my bed, I could feel it and at the same time I was at those other places, it is like I was really there not like lucid dreaming where you know you are dreaming, it is like you are at two places at once experiencing two things at once. And at those times which sometimes lasted hours I wasn't thinking in the usual way, you know where "you hear words in your mind", I was seeing and feeling the other places and people I went to. At first it was supercreepy but the fear tends to dissipate after a few "trips" and you can start to enjoy them and even "manipulate" them, not just being an observer but being an active part of those places and times. Also I was able to break through a few "thought-laws" on varying subjects, stuff I didn't dare even thinking about I was living through these taboo-subjects and I saw why some are still a taboo and why some are very dated taboos. Aaaanyways weird stuff, once I started eating and drinking again those visions wore off, this has been going on since thursday or friday last week and I am almost completly "back" now. Still happy with my job and life in general. Totally going to start meditating although I think I am already doing it xD Well just wanted to share, feel free to comment or share your own "outer-body" encounters. P.S. I use "" for words that should've better synonyms but english isn't my first language so bear with me ^__^ --------- These experiences are common when you deprive your brain of fuel. Focus on your breath. That is all. If you can concentrate on even a single breath congratulations, you are meditating. Now, shit is hard in the beginning and your concentration will wander off to something like your thoughts or some sound or your body or something else after a few seconds, this is where you gently bring your concentration back onto your breath. Repeat until you can concentrate for longer periods of time. Sheeeet is really simple xD If you don't know what your concentration is start by listening to your breathing. And turn off every device, don't half-ass it. Not a hint of understanding or kindness to be found. I could feel how a lot of classmates were thriving on this. Freaking vampires. He left class as it was too much pressure for him, his whole being got questioned and put on the spot, a very unconfortable situation, I was there too twice. I asked if I could go after him since I know what he is going through and almost got into the crossfire for taking his side too. Had to defend myself like there was something wrong with forgiving him for what he currently represents. Very strange experience indeed, still trying to find out what it meant. And yes, I feel like an ass for not standing up for him while everyone else was ganging up on him. One that resonated to the core was me sitting in my room scared to look at the door because it just knocked. After some serious reconciliation I said "come in" but still didn't look. I was asked why I was afraid to turn around, I answered I don't know. Who do you expect to see?
That was when I turned around and knew my dead father was there right in that room at that moment. Of course there was no one in the room, I "felt" his presence. Even "observed" him sitting down, but not with my eyes.

You can "send" your conciousness into anything you can sense. Now you are running beside an older version of yourself.

This gives me a great idea! You could make a thread where people post in when they have a synch. That way we could probably even find a greater pattern through the amalgamation of individual synchs. It's probably a higher entity trying to communicate or relay a message through the combined computing power of all concioussness on a certain frequency (the synch frequency (tm)). Next time you sleep and dream, go to your house and lay in your bed and go to sleep (in the dream). Next time you wake up you won't know if you're dreaming or not.
