Agent “C”
I’d like to hijack this quiet little corner of cyberspace to ramble on about agency and what that means
to some of us.
Many people who are caught up with the nobody meme think that their powers are some manifestation of personal agency. Some of us are aware that our abilities and 10% personal talent and 90% agency effects.
From my own experience I know that I am not powerful on my own, but when I am in the service of my Lord I can manifest agency effects. These may appear to be wondrous but are natural for a being untethered to physical/temporal limits.
As agents of others we are given that 10% wiggle room to allow our personality and talents to shine. The agency effects vary widely depending on who we are an agent for and their station in an “other-worldly” hierarchy.
At some point in life and perhaps many times in your life you should answer this one important question.
“Who do you serve?”
If you believe in no higher authority you still have to decide if you serve yourself or others, but having no higher authority you will only be as effective as the 10% permits. You will not manifest higher abilities and you may be at the mercy of powerful forces that you don’t know/care exists.
Some people are very aware of who they serve, and are able to manifest effects related to their master.
Here is where it gets difficult, how can you be sure who you are serving is who you want to serve.
For those of a Gnostic bend they have a whole “history” of beliefs and characters covering the cosmic scene. I don’t have much faith is all these stories, my biblical background offered me another history.
I don’t put much stock in that either.
Who I call Lord and who I serve today and for most of my life, is a being(s) that I have interacted with since I was a child and have grown to know all my life. I have called him God but that began as childhood ignorance. This Being(s) made himself known as a child first visual then auditory and it’s always been kind and deferential towards me. As an example I was a young child, and my mom gave me a quarter to put in the church offering plate. I lost the quarter and searched for a short time then started crying at my loss of God’s money. Then a still quiet voice in my mind said “Look down” I looked down and there between my two big toes was a quarter.
I am not 100% sure who my Lord is but I have learned to trust them over a lifespan. They have always been loyal to me and it only feels natural to reciprocate that loyalty. That being said I cannot deny my Lords dark side, I have witnessed him take lives and sometimes not a few as a means to an ends. I had to give up the friendly grandfather in the sky at a young age.
To deny the dark side of any light being is as foolish as denying the light side of any dark being. We are all a mixture of light and dark, ideally held in balance by the nature of the soul.
The deference my Lord has shown me, and the agency effects that have occurred in my life has given me over to my ego, and given my life a feeling of living a fateful life, and in some measure this has been shown true.
Agent C, let me tell you a little secret about destiny, those who have one generally felt it throughout their lives. It’s something they have felt, and most have in common the fact they have tried to sabotage their destiny. My lord will give you every opportunity to try to avoid, sabotage, or run away from it. He will even put large stumbling blocks in the path, if only to get it through your thick skull that in the end none of it mattered.
