I don't work for Royal Houses.. like a slave.. for fiat paper.. and scraps of so called 'rewards'..
They pray to me.. do rituals in my honour..
Why would I submit to those whom I empower

Well, if it were something that you loved, or were passionate about, the rest probably wouldn't matter to you. Some maybe it's just not that important, to be an actor.

Look Pretty Much.. Royal Houses.. Empower Someone.. if they PUSH an Agenda.. A House Agenda
If they extract fiat paper and energy from the General Public..
Since when is that True Power
It's Power based on Conditions of Submission

True Ark.. but that is how they GET YOU! LOL! The Illusion that YOUR PASSION is YOUR Choice It's not that it's a choice per se. It's that, it's something you feel inherently very strongly about, and when you do it, nothing else matters. It's like me with writing. I didn't ask to be or choose to be a writer. It's just a gift that I have that choose me. Some things are like that. I could reject it, I may or might reject it, but it remains.

Ark if you want to be a World Renown Writer (which you do) You will have to submit to the Royals at some point You can create THE BEST writings of all time.. and get NO Publicity for them.. (The Royals would just snatch the writings for their private collections lol)

It becomes embedded in the hologram of the unified field. Even if something is written and it is truly revolutionary, never appreciated while I am alive, if it is truly great it will inevitably be recognized. And even if I am not as an author recognized, my words will still have changed the world. But because it's not so popular to read in this era, we writers are basically left alone.

The Narrative of your Idea can be controlled.. Your character tarnished.. Your writings ripped to shreds by critics All to misdirect the general public from reading them.. In order for the Royal's to have exclusive rights and control of the True Power of your writings Will your writings change the world.. sure.. but not in the way you had envisioned

But true of anything. A great piece of work is fundementally unaltered by what is said about it. It speaks directly to readers. Many authors had criticsm that possitively tore their stuff to shreds, basically it was not accepted in their own time. But it became absolutely gilded in the passing of time when it was revisisted, and that is where the fame and notoriety of the piece was post humously originated. I think, you have to do what you are passionate about regardless of what others say, because creating your art is a necessity - an existential necessity. You can't fear failure or what the critics will think.

I think, you have to do what you are passionate about regardless of what others say, because creating your art is a necessity - an existential necessity. You can't fear failure or what the critics will think. Passion, and those two hated qualities of ours, effort and discipline can create miracles when applied to the correct source. In this I disagree with OYE, critics no longer have the power to decide collective choices, except when it comes to give away prizes. If they did, hollywood blocbusters would be nothing but failures, yet counter-culture and overall bad taste have, for better and for worse, changed the way entertainment is sold. Online distribution, free publishing, self-publishing, public discussion and several other fruits of the internet have forever broke the critics monopoly on what is marketable. It's like Caylus said, you need to reach out to your public, we all love to hear about ourselves.
