I hope a nuke is never used again Most of the worst catastrophes were cause by conventional weapons (firebombs, explosives, chemical/biological, etc..). There's a lot of evidence pointing towards "nukes" being a red herring. Global scare tactics. |

There's a lot of evidence pointing towards "nukes" being a red herring. Global scare tactics. I don't myself believe the world will end that way. People understand the implications of mutually assured destruction. It seems to stay the hand. Us Americans really shafted Japan with Hiroshima and Nagasaki though. That is some horrifying shit, I don't care if it was the only way to end the war... |

I hope a nuke is never used again If a nuclear power comes into the brink of collapse, nuclear war might be inevitable, and should that happen the rulers will safely hide in their ant kingdoms as we the plebs take the brunt of it. Even if your area of residence isn't targeted the wind currents and bodies of water will spread the poisonous dust all over the world. On the bright side, should that happen, the nations involved would likely go for each other's storage facilities to neutralize the threat of MAD. |
