My friend peer pressured me into joining team valor. Most of my pokemon are shitty but playing this game has made me meet and talk to tons of people that never would have been speaking otherwise. Pokemon taking over the world has always kind of been my dream so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't stoked. I'm stoked.
What do you guys think of pokemon go? What color are you and why is it blue hmm? Are we spy drones for tptb? Google map conspiracy?

It's only a conspiracy as long as there is no leak. I believe it is not only known to me, that government agencies and police forces make use of the microphones and cameras of heavy criminals. PoGo not getting "abused" (it's only data collection, objectively no malice here) is a nonprobability in my opinion. That being said, I am thinking about downloading it for days now, but I can still resist!!1

Well I have heard allegations of its affiliation with the cia - Niatic's other game Ingress is very, very interesting. Ingress WikiPlayers are referred to in the game as "agents". The app description is more or less, " the world around you is not what it seems..." Ingress. The game. It's happening all around you. They aren't coming. They're already hereDoesn't it seem kinda........ true.....?

My sister apparently found out about the potential CIA connection and was like, "where's my conspiracy theory sister bugging me? She should be all over this". You see, it's not that I don't think it's a conspiracy...I actually do think it is.... But , it gives me an inexplicable source of great joy that it has jizzed the memeload all over society.... Fucking pokemon. I can't tell you how many older adults have put "poke-mahns" in air quotes and rolled their eyes at me . Now the Poke-mahns are crawling through their garages and bringing hordes of zombie tweens.... Heh. Heh. Heh.

Here's another fucking weird factoid, all countries part of the five eyes intelligence collective - ie, Australia, America, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK - you can play Pokemon Go in.

Amadeus, do you remember how mr. skywalker told me that they didn't want pokemon in the control room? and now the most popular app in the world is rolled out - it's pokemon - and it happens to be linked to the cia. weird.

I've yet to try any cell phone based AR games, as of yet. It would be interesting to create one - from what I've read, it's not all that complicated compared to other games for Android/IOS What do you think Caylus? Add Augmented Reality to your forum? Conspiracy, myth, motorcycles and more I know computers, networks, and phones and so forth, not programmer per se...any programmers in the house? There is a free dev application DroidAR DroidAR Mobile Locationbased Augmented Reality Framework for Android

I am not a programmer myself quite yet buuut I am planning on returning to a local college in the fall and taking some programming and net architecture classes so, who knows! Perhaps in the future, heh. I heard Pokemon Go was 20 years in the making or something- which seems strange considering the most difficult part must have been just compiling the map data. It's not a very complex game to say the least. Oh, and it has a lot of bugs.

Sometimes the best way to get started is to just get started -
which brings up and interesting side-note about GLP; is it not true that to some degree everything that is posted there becomes their property? Thus Zero Point ltd. is mining not only data, but content... sometimes even fiction etc - etc - etc ...I think as long as you save copy outside of the site, things are okay Though - I think I will recheck that.
Our conspiratorial conversations are being milked by content farmers!!!
Back to the AR game - I can do a bit of research on the sdk -- if it's easy to work with, then all that is needed is to add content, and ...I have a ton of inter networking experience ... at very least, to just start slowing building ...the world(s) could be cool...

Supposedly Ingress has a lot of conspiratorial elements. But yeah, in terms of glp. yes I think they do content farm there absolutely. Some say, that famous writers and such for hollywood use it for idea for movies, etc... I dunno about that one but...certainly makes you wonder.
