Greetings Blue Monarchians, As you may or may not be aware, GLP is struggling to remain open due to the dwindling membership and overall lack of interest in their manipulated free speech. It actually comes as a surprise to me that this has not happened sooner to be honest. The business model they deploy is nothing short of 'con'. They provide nothing remotely close to customer service so unless you are about donating to racists and megalomaniacs, why would anyone pay a brass razoo to these clowns. You will no longer find skilled alchemists and people with high intelligence using that medium, other than maybe a few psychopaths. Perhaps long ago before they were chased out of town by the army of bots that infest the place you could have found a decent mentor or teacher along the way, possibly even discovering some of the great mysteries through ages.
These days all you will get is a circle jerk of the same generic bullshit with a few parrots sharing the latest's news headlines. I have been monitoring the site for a few years now and 100% of any metical thread will be shilled or trolled off the boards. I can now say for sure that GLP is a vacuum for creative energy. People will not be allowed to ply their craft without it being highjacked and manipulated. If you really want to change the world, GLP is only going to change you. The pendulum swings, not even the mighty egregore that is GLP is exempt.

I think for the most part you are preaching to the choir here, friend.
We all know the truth about GLP.
Then again, at least in my case, it was what birthed me.
But like Jonah in the belly of the great fish, GLP regurgitated me and spit me back into sanity.
It's still interesting to go there to monitor as a silent observer.
But best not to get too involved there.

I am aware that most if not all people here have no love for that place anymore. I am also aware that if I put this into the universe, there will be a response as opposed to doing nothing and perceiving nothing. There could be dozens of reason as to why GLP will ultimately crash and burn but I know one reason for sure. I have nothing against people using that platform, even paying them money for the privilege. People are free to make their own choices just like I am free to use my own personal attitude towards the place, to bend the universe towards my will.
