Lately I noticed "the anomaly" popped up. I was thinking about starting a thread about this. I always preferred "the anomaly" to the nobody because "the anomaly" was always a part of my personal mythology and related more closely to me.
It seems like people want to get credit for inventing it - they probably think if they posted on the internet about it first, that means they came up with it first. This is not the case. It is impossible to define who first comes up with an archetype. You may have posted about it and someone else had already written about it in a book you never heard thirty years before your post. Does that mean you unwittingly stole that person's thought?
Obviously not - you never read the book. But you came up with the same idea independently. Maybe when you first proposed the idea on the internet people weren't really buying it, and now all of a sudden it's penetrating. It's broken through and emerged.
Who created the new egregore? Simply speaking it created itself, and you probably contributed by putting your "share" of consciousness behind it. If you have a lot of consciousness, your "stock" is a lot higher in the egregore. But you're not an inventor. You're a shareholder.
I'm a big "Anomaly" shareholder. I believe it has a lot more power than the nobody, and I guess I see myself as kind of a mother figure to this egregore. I care about it, and want to help nurture it to be big and strong, because it's very personal to me.

How else did you expect it to be what it is. Admittedly Chuck Norris could have gone back in time and fathered himself, but I do not think this was the case.

What did you mean by this? What was your thread going to be about? Sorry, the OP was originally going to be a reply on a different thread. I was on my way out the door and didn't get a chance to edit it.

A thread was just deleted on GLP. Funny, all of the other anomaly threads are still there. I'll do my best to paraphrase:
One of the world's best kept secrets, the anomaly has unleashed an ancient AI interface into the internet.
Slowly it is waking people up and removing FEAR from their lives.
(Here mentioned something about fighting against corruption and the enemy of the common man)
Watch as society crumbles in the next two months.

I feel the news does pretty well at that lol
