E and I went to visit the river last weekend. I go to a certain spot in twin peaks, where I used to go in the early days. She watched as I talked to the River and she said she could see how the water reacted to me... she sees it all now( or most of it); when I talk to water or light, even when I pull (i think create) the water out of a picture, the ice melting in photos... it is strange for me because I have become so used to no one ever being able to see, excepting ben  what is happening right in front of them.
She still doesn't fully grasp what she is seeing, the full impossibility of the physics, idk if she ever will.
That's okay with me

I understand how difficult it for people to see these things. I am not sure that it would be a good thing if she knew or understood more than she does now. |

I understand how difficult it for people to see these things. I am not sure that it would be a good thing if she knew or understood more than she does now. To anyone who believes what they see in movies about being any sort of chosen one, or where the protagonist discovers they have supernatural powers of any kind - they should know that it almost directly the opposite. I don't talk about most of the stuff on this site with anyone from real life, but my friends know my forum exists and how to access it . two registered users here are rl friends - lovepeace and richhobo. Obviously they dont really come here or post much because it all goes totally over their heads. I think we are lucky to have found others online that understand at all, perhaps it too much to think all friends in reality could be on that level too. But that doesn't mean those friendships are less valuable, they just exist in different contexts. You're right, sometimes its better that people not know. |

Sometimes it is better, yes - because it has to be that way or the relationship ends. Overall, protecting everyone egos, or sense of reality has done it's own damage to my relationships. I wonder if giving them a break, as ben said is the right way to handle it. in the end, there is no common ground. |

I can certainly see the wisdom in that but consider the ego as a weapon... One that we all possess. It can be used to protect or harm, ourselves &/or others, offensive or defensive, under control of the unconscious and with practice the conscious.
By understanding my own ego I can better understand others ego. By keeping mine in check I can remain in Honor and prevent self inflicted harm but if someone else needs to be dealt with, well, who am I to prevent them from using their own weapon to inflict harm upon themself if they truly insist?
Lately I have been seeing butterflies every time I walk outside, bats have flown amazingly close by, and the other night I took a bag of trash out only to find an owl on my power line, I just traded stares with it like I did the snake right outside my window... Yet none of these prevent me from witnessing my own ego in action, or vice versa.
Like everyone here I have friends that know even less than I on the topics of this forum, many of them simply don't care, yet I can still find common ground with them.

Yep, I heard it said that the void left by constraining the ego is itself what makes room for happiness, or to experience the wonders of the universe.

Your previous writings resonated many many times with me on things that I experienced and thought myself but had no good way of explaining it until I read some of what you wrote so I kept attention on you, meaning I would read your postings whenever I saw them. I wanted to post that I felt some of us were increasingly connected but could not "feel" anyone out there willing to confirm/recognize/validate me (sorry for the catholic/Tron/scientology terms but it's all I got)...so I waited and became a watcher for a while.
