More than 25 previously unpublished “Dead Sea Scroll” fragments, dating back 2,000 years and holding text from the Hebrew Bible, have been brought to light, their contents detailed in two new books. The various scroll fragments record parts of the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Samuel, Ruth, Kings, Micah, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Joel, Joshua, Judges, Proverbs, Numbers, Psalms, Ezekiel and Jonah. The Qumran caves ― where the Dead Sea Scrolls were first discovered ― had yet to yield any fragments from the Book of Nehemiah; if this newly revealed fragment is authenticated it would be the first.

The Tukutari statue on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) this statue is off on its own and is carved in red scoria unlike most of the Moai statues which only used the red scoria to carve the Pukao topknots and headdress, this came from the sacred quarry inside a volcanic crater. What is of interest here is the very African look to the features on this statue which reminds me in a way of the Olmec statues and also of another unearthed in Gympie Australia called the Gympie ape and thought to represent the god Thoth. Perhaps the Tukutari statue and the Olmecs had in common the same sculptors but at different time periods and it seems they were most likely of giant statue to maneuver such large rock pieces around. Why do we insist that they had to be the same size people as we are today when there is ample evidence around the earth to prove otherwise. An interesting note here is that if you translate the meaning of Rapa Nui into the NZ Maori language you get a close meaning of rapa - to flash (as of lightning) and nui meaning large, many, numerous, abundant, and superior. The gods Tiki, Tane, and Tangaroa were common to all Polynesia and regarded as the fore-fathers of the royal lines of divine descent. None of these Polynesian gods were originally known to the Easter Islanders. Their creator-god was Makemake whose representative on earth was not a hereditary king, but an annually selected birdman. Thoth was known as the sacred bird, and was said to be a member of the bird tribe (Ophanim / Ptah Taal).

Colonel Charles Halt, one of the key US military witnesses during the perplexing incident, claims important details were missing when the MoD released formerly classified files on the case which dates back to 1980. The UFO sighting happened when three US officers based at RAF Bentwaters claimed a "triangular shaped craft" landed in neighbouring woods in the early hours of December 26 1980.
