The pickle is that the 'Bringer of Ragnarok' has earned the trust of Diana the Huntress.
Huginn and Muginn are the left eye, alerting the path for the lone right. The morrigans are slaves used as pawns. Noahs raven was fine being labeled unclean, and never returned. A kestrel if by any other name.
As the caravan circles its wagons for the night, the elders sit by the campfire and entertain the children with their songs, poetry, stories, and sagas.
There is one among them who isnt allowed to speak. There is one among them who isnt allowed to paint pictures. He must keep his ideas to himself. It has always been that way.
In his mind there is an entire universe. A world that he created entirely, where everything exists and anything is possible. This place is called Chaos.
When he was a boy, all the people in his town were fascinated by his intelligence. Officials came from all over the land to marvel at the things he could do. He won all the spelling bees, chess tournaments, and was a blue ribbon mathlete. However, he became a burden to the statesmen when he discovered their secrets. He made the other children cry of fear when he played dungeons and dragons. He preached a sermon of fire and brimstone so intense that all the businessmen were hospitalized for dehydration from sweating. He was permanently banned from art class after painting his assignment - the civil war.
So he learned to keep it all to himself. He got a bit older and tried expressing himself through music. He went to Nashville and they banned him because his country music was too sad.
By this time, he became a stoic. His face was cold and expressionless, and he could sit for hours - like a statue. However still and peaceful he seemed on the outside, there was still an entire world going on on the inside.
Factories continued to puff black smoke, churning out products 24/7. Scientists continued to make breakthroughs in research. Engineers continued to make bolder and better structures. Train tracks were laid as quickly as possible everywhere, connecting goods, people, and services to every corner of the world. Armies conquered land after land, and culture after culture.
In the center of this world sits a large library in the middle of a park. The library boasts tall stone columns on all eight corners, and on top is a large glass dome. The inside of this library is where all information is kept, and all interesting artifacts are brought here, preserved, and put on display. For the sake of transparency, this library was built without a basement.
It came to pass that Darkness learned of this place. Darkness cried foul to the universe, "theyre rebuilding alexandria! They must be stopped!" And so, Darkness sent an army of Shadows to sack the library in the capital city.
While they were still a long ways off, the army of Shadows was seen by the Watchers in the lookout towers, and they sounded their trumpets. Like a wave, every sound possible sounded until the message reached the center of the capital city. Trumpets and church bells and work horns and fire trucks and clock towers rang out, sending the city into a frenzy. At last, someone at the library sounded the olde Gjallarhorn, and it was then that the Ancients were released.
The Shadows were met at the edge of the city walls by the citys first wave of defense, a platoon of scrambled F16s, griffins, and wyverns. The Shadows disguised themselves as F16s, griffins, and wyverns, and quickly annihilated the city's defense through Confusion. Once over the wall, they were met by a force of tanks, catapults, rocket launchers, and nephilim.
The Shadows changed tactics and jumped into the city's telecommunications system, where they quickly travelled down telephone lines and airwaves, inside nearly every building and cell phone and computer available. Everything was compromised and it seemed to be a hopeless situation.
An old wizard stood on the lawn of the library and cast a spell, casting the library and all of its contents from the park inside the old artist's mind and into a manifested vessel in the physical world. The Shadows conquered the whole world and Darkness overcame the artist's mind, but the knowledge of Everything was kept safe.
The Shadows reported back to the Devil what had happened. He became enraged, and sent himself to Earth, along with all the legions of demons and Shadows and djinn to find the vessel. In response, the gate was opened at bab ilu, and all the ancients were allowed to roam the Earth, to help defend the Knowledge of Everything.
The Darkness on Earth infiltrated the minds of Elite politicians and businessmen the world over, causing the world to fall into disrepair. The Ancients revealed themselves to the Wise and the Influential, giving away powers and knowledge for the sake of protecting the world. These people, along with others, became known as anomalies, and their quest is to save the universe.
The Shadows are at War with the Anomalies, and they do all they can to prevent the Anomalies from banding together.
No one knows where the vessel containing the Knowledge of Everything is. Perhaps it is in the bottom of the Ocean, or buried under a mountain, on Mars, or somewhere in Antarctica.
The old artist who had the vessel hid it somewhere, and then cast an amnesia spell upon himself to protect it. The Shadows, demons, djinn, and all other sorts of Manifestations of Darkness have come to him and have tortured him mercilessly, hoping to unlock the vessels location, but to no avail.
The information of the vessels location is locked by Love, something the Darkness can emulate, but not actually bestow, possess, or create.
He rides from town to town keeping all of this to himself, enjoying the musings of day to day life. The Shadows come upon those he interacts with, and corrupt their minds so he cannot communicate with them fully. Sometimes they go as far as attacking peoples bodies or their senses. The Shadows do this to all Anomalies. Jamming communication is their specialty.
And so tonight, just like any other, the world of Chaos will remain a secret, the Knowledge of Everything will remain unknown, and the capital city will remain unrebuilt.
However there remains a mystery. The double slit experiment proved a long time ago that things do not exist without consciousness. So if the Knowledge of Everything is forgotten, does it exist? This in itself is an Anomaly.
Did God flood the Earth because only one family believed in Him, and if those couple of people died, would God cease to exist? If He created everything then He must understand how to uncreate everything. I call this the 'Law of Insecurity.'
Is this why the Devil wants everyone to not believe in God?
If a farmer lives for 70 years and dies and no one records his life, did he exist even?
How many people are like that? Since the beginning of time? Is this why rich/important/influential people create giant statues and put them in cemeteries?
If you had tons of money, but then died, would it matter?
Or if you were poor but everyone knew you, and you died, and people talked about you for decades, centuries, and millenia later, is this important?
Is fame the secret to this world?
Are there ancient civilizations we don't know about?
Is this why the democrats were pro-slavery but now they're taking down all the civil war statues so in the future they can say slavery never happened?
In the movie Soylent Green, two men eat a bunch of vegetables and it blows the younger man's mind, and the old man says they used to eat this shit everyday.
Is this the illuminati secret?
If the letter J was part of the Kings English and wasn't public knowledge until 1611, how many letters are out there? Reversely, are there letters they've destroyed and kept secret?
The color violet is very uncommon in nature, and save for a couple of flowers and gems, doesn't exist. How hard would it be to eradicate the color violet?
With power like that, you could easily manipulate people into believing you were a god/goddess. Perhaps this is the Nordic alien situation.
There were people who lived in the mountains of West Virginia who didn't get newspaper so World War II came and went, and they didn't even know.
